The name says it all: Mirabilandia, a wonderland. We have already mentioned that the 3 star Hotel Raffaello close to the sea of Bellaria Igea Marina is the perfect door to the great amusement parks of the Riviera. We described the excursions that you can go on in Oltremare, Italy in Miniature and Aquafan. So we could not miss out on mentioning one of the largest parks in Europe, where big wheels, even visually, characterize the landscape around Ravenna.

In Romagna, we usually think of the wellbeing and enjoyment of all, knowing that of course that of the older ones comes through that of the youngest. So even Mirabilandia provides a lot of attractions that will certainly make a family day out of fun and relaxing for all visitors of all ages.

Younger children can for example take the Santa Fé Express, a train of wishes that will lead them along the paths of Bimbopoli; they can enjoy the Casa Matta, the kangaroo hopping with Arturo, a friendly character typical of Mirabilandia and much more. In the meantime, while they have fun with friends, adults can experience the thrill of Katun, an inverted rollercoaster among the most daring in Europe. It makes a full 360-degree turn, with a jump of 50 metres, reaching 110 km/h. Ispeed goes from zero to one hundred in about 2 seconds, through ascents and descents and curves that really take your breath away.

The 3 star Hotel Raffaello in Bellaria Igea Marina is about half an hour away by car and is easy to reach. Just take the via Albio Tibullo, turn right onto Via Pertini, then left onto Via Quinto Ennio to the highway Adriatica and follow it towards Ravenna. Passing Cesenatico, Cervia, Milano Marittima, Savio, you will see the wheel of Mirabilandia. You will arrive at the “romagnole” wonderland.
